Rove Lab Near Me: The Puppy Lounge by Rise Wise — Try Our Sofa with Therapy Dogs in Sheung Wan

Find Your New Favourite Spot — With a Side of Puppy Therapy

Hidden on Queen's Road West in Sheung Wan, just minutes from the MTR, The Puppy Lounge by Rise Wise isn't your average cafe. It's a therapy dog space where the coffee is excellent, the ambiance is calm, and the real stars are the four-legged therapists roaming between tables.

Rise Wise is a Hong Kong-based animal welfare organisation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs. Their Sheung Wan space doubles as a cozy cafe and an adoption centre — meaning every latte you sip helps fund their mission to give abandoned dogs a second chance. The upstairs floor is a quiet lounge area where visitors can spend one-on-one time with the dogs in a relaxed setting, and it's here that you'll find a Rove Lab M3 Loveseat alongside our pet-friendly beds.

Yes, the sofa is genuinely dog-approved. Our Performance Weave fabric is scratch-resistant, spill-proof, and easy to clean — essential qualities when your co-star is a rescue pup who's still learning indoor manners. The M3 Loveseat's compact 135cm footprint fits perfectly in the lounge nook, proving that a stylish space and a pet-friendly space are the same space.

The Puppy Lounge also hosts regular adoption days, weekend puppy socialisation sessions, and workshops on responsible pet ownership. It's become a community hub for dog lovers across Hong Kong Island — the kind of place where strangers become friends over a shared love of corgis.

What's on the menu?

The cafe serves specialty coffee from local roasters, a rotating selection of teas, and homemade dog treats (yes, for the dogs). Human snacks include pastries, toasties, and a very good matcha latte that rivals anything in Soho.
